Current● Provide superior customer service while leading a highly productive team, including training, supporting and mentoring junior staff. ● Recognised for strategic thinking and assessing customer numbers to determine the number of open registers required to maintain productivity and a positive customer experience.● Recognised as a top performer both as an individual and Duty Manager. ● Maintains positive relationships with the Store Manager and Area Manager.● Oversee and coordinate stock, inventory, merchandising, and food safety programs. ● Implement plans and practices to reduce losses, often due to damaged and destroyed merchandise.● Participate in stock takes and stock movements. ● Check for accurate signage, product rotation, and dates for perishable items.● Determine quantity, status, vendor returns, and promotion of merchandise.● Manage cash handling and reconciliations, often handling large sums of money.● Safely utilise automatic and manual pallet movers and other equipment while adhering to strict OHS&E procedures to maintain a zero-harm environment.
