Ever since I can remember, I have been drawn to figuring out what drives people, why we do what we do. I turned this childhood curiosity first into a PhD in Psychology and eventually into a career solving organization problems that prevent people from doing and being their best. I love diagnosing, analyzing, and rebuilding people systems that align with business strategy. All companies say that their people are their greatest asset. Unfortunately, many companies act quite the opposite, and this leads to preventable yet damaging patterns such as blaming, sabotage, pretending, victim mindset, and defensiveness. There is another way, and I am tenacious about asking the hard questions to help teams and organizations choose the other way. I am fortunate to have held a wide range of positions in a wide range of industries in both the US and Europe. Regardless of position or industry or location, I have built my career by• partnering with senior leaders and executives to assess and solve for leadership and talent needs;• coaching and consulting leaders and teams toward higher functioning;• elevating performance, effectiveness, and workplace relationships through open, transparent conversations and uncovering root causes; and • leading teams of highly talented practitioners, specialists, and business partners.I do what I do because I believe that • there is a direct connection between interpersonal effectiveness and the bottom line; • all employees deserve a workplace where they feel valued, competent, safe, and cared for; and• meaningful, sustainable change happens only when we integrate body, mind, heart, and soul in practical solutions.I hold several professional certifications, including conflict mediation and coaching, MBTI®, and globally-distributed individual and team development assessment and programs. I am highly curious, disciplined, resilient, and optimistic, and I thrive in ambiguous, uncertain, and complex situations. I am afraid of becoming stagnant and complacent, and this fear, coupled with my natural tendency to lead with “yes”, has resulted in my greatest accomplishments and adventures. I am an avid athlete and I feel most at home in the water or on my bicycle. I am at peace when walking the city with my dog and my husband.
