I am currently in my third semester of nursing school with one additional semester to go. I was the Nursing Student Association President, and Junior President of the nursing honor society ADN. I also work part time at Health First as a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist. I am currently enrolled to take classes during fourth semester toward my Bachelor's in nursing.

Responsible for educating hospital staff on the implementation and use of the SmartSponge system that prevents the retention of surgical sponges. Hospital departments that may be involved include Surgery (main ORs and ambulatory surgery centers), Labor and Delivery including c-sections, Cardiac Cath Labs, and other departments where interventional procedures may take place. Education is provided during both evaluation and go-live implementation situations as well as account follow-up. Responsible for clinical training and sales of General Surgical and Specialty Surgical Tables, Surgical Lighting Systems and Equipment Management Systems to the O.R. I managed multiple roles focusing on surgical table trials and sales. Getinge USA divested clinical training and sales to MAQUET in January 08. Clinical Application Specialist of the year (inaugural award 2008).Promoted to Lead Clinical Application Specialist (2007). Developed new applications for CAS team for lead development.Managed Nationwide Clinical Apps Team (2007- 2008).
