I was the first-ever HR hire for Levain Bakery, a NYC institution famous for its massive and delicious cookies and fresh baked goods. I built out the entire HR function, and helped scale the business from 3 bakeries and 30 employees in New York, when I started in 2016, to 13 bakeries and nearly 500 employees in New York, Washington DC, Maryland, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles.Throughout my tenure at Levain, I managed a variety of HR functions: benefits, recruiting, performance management, compliance, employee relations and employee engagement- with an emphasis on maintaining a values-driven culture as the company experienced high growth.

I worked front-of-house in several busy restaurants in downtown DC and NYC, honing my passion for people + food.

I interned with the HR + Recruiting team at Blue Apron during a period of massive growth, assisting with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and rolling out their first-ever employee engagement survey.

I supervised nearly 30 employees for busy downtown gastropub, and coordinated private events for upwards of 200 people.

I worked as a SAT Prep Teacher, working with classes of up to 20 high school students to give them the skills and strategies needed to excel on the SAT.
