Neurovation Labs, Inc. is a biotechnology company revolutionizing the way psychiatric disorders are treated, with an initial focus on Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. The company is developing the first objective diagnostic and targeted medication for PTSD. Its approach is the first to be based on actual physical indicators, and its goal is to make it standard to diagnose and treat psychiatric disease with the same precision as cancer.

PTSD Recovery Foundation of America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to help those suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. The organization was founded by scientists, biotech entrepreneurs, and medical philanthropists with a passion for PTSD healthcare. Its goals are to positively impact the community to help end the PTSD stigma and, ultimately, to change the way society thinks about mental health. It aims to fund scientific research, along with therapy, education, and reintegration efforts to truly aid recovery.

Performed research in a Behavioral Neuroscience lab working toward completion of doctoral dissertation. Examine the profile of stress- induced fear learning in rodents and its implications in anxiety disorders, as well as potential neuropharmacological interventions for such disorders.

Worked under Dr. Holly Moore in a lab dealing with adolescent brain development. Performed histology and microscopy to examine pruning of connections within the brain for the completion of undergraduate senior thesis.

Worked under Dr. Lauren Ellman in a lab dealing with prenatal contributors to schizophrenia; helped examine the effects of maternal stress and cortisol levels on developing schizophrenia.

Worked under Dr. Daniel Javitt in the Cognitive Neuroscience and Schizophrenia Research program. Performed rodent electrophysiology and ran a pilot study testing schizophrenia's influence on mismatch negativity, as well as performed microdialysis and HPLC as part of a continuing study on schizophrenia's effect on neurotransmitters and receptors.
