Establish and maintain the accounting policies, practices, standards and controls while maintaining compliance with various agencies and tax authorities. Prepare financial statements, statistical, and graphical reports that summarize the company’s financial position and results of operations for each accounting period as well as year-end. Coordinate and direct the preparation of tax returns, annual forecasts, business plan and financial and insurance audits. Represent the company with banks, insurance providers, financial services firms, and taxing and licensing authorities. Responsible for human resources functions including full benefit administration, maintaining personnel records, employee policy manual, worker’s compensation and 401(k) including annual audits and compliance testing. Responsible for compliance in all areas, assisting managers with discipline and terminations. Represent company with external vendors for insurance, 401(k), etc.
