With over 25 years of experience in the behavioral health care industry, I am a passionate and visionary leader who strives to improve the quality and accessibility of mental health and substance use services in the region. As the Executive Director of Behavioral Health at University of Maryland, Upper Chesapeake Health (UM-UCH), I oversee the development, management, and integration of a comprehensive and coordinated continuum of care, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and crisis services.In addition to my role at UM-UCH, I am also the Co-Founder of Pebble's Throw Consulting, a firm that assists organizations in building trauma- and asset-informed leaders, developing strengths-based policies and procedures, and creating safe and connected environments for team members and communities served. Through my consultation, public speaking, grant writing, and event management skills, I aim to share my expertise and best practices in trauma-informed care, team-building, and organizational change with diverse and mission-driven clients. My goal is to empower and enable individuals and organizations to achieve their full potential and impact.
