In this role I am required to support users of the SISRA Online service (a web-based data analysis tool for school data) with their data queries via a live chat facility. The role requires excellent analytical and numerical skills, as well as sound written communication skills. The fast paced method of communication between myself and customers requires me to be able to solve data problems promptly and accurately. This role has developed my IT skills as I am required to competently use a variety of programmes such as Microsoft Excel. I am also required to stay updated with current issues in Education which may affect how school data is analysed and interpreted.

This role required me to offer an exceptional level of customer service. I was responsible for stock recovery, replenishment and standards on the shop floor. I also took part in the visual merchandising process; using my knowledge of bestselling products to adjust layout, presentation and displays of the store to suit the company’s target market.

My main duties within this role were to serve customers on the tills, return any stock back on to the shop floor, deal with customer enquiries both in store and via telephone and also ensure that the store was kept tidy and stock levels maintained. I was required to meet deadlines, work at a set pace under pressure and use my initiative when dealing with customers. I also gained a sound understanding of in-store IT systems by using the tills and stock search systems.
