Jennifer Richmond is an International Relations Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in geopolitics and global intelligence, education and culture, and all things related to cross-cultural communications. After leaving academia, she has been responsible for managing the international business development and networks for groups such as Stratfor and Waveland Ventures. At Stratfor, she led an international team responsible for collecting and vetting international intelligence to create robust analysis for business leaders and government officials. At Waveland Ventures she created an international network of foreign investors for their New York State Empire Outlet Fund that raised $80 million overseas for a Goldman Sachs project. In addition, Jennifer started American Culture Consultants, helping international visitors and residents connect, advance and succeed in America. In this role she has been invited as a keynote speaker by the government of Vietnam and spoke at the U.S.-China Innovation Summit on navigating different business cultures.Jennifer also founded Truth In Between, an initiative to connect people across distance and difference to correspond over letters. She presented her letters mission at a TEDx event in Austin, Texas. Her book - Letters in Black and White - with co-author W.F. Twyman, Jr., published by Pitchstone Publishing, was released in May 2023.As the former Director of Operations for the Moral Courage Project, and a Facilitator for Next Arrow, Jennifer helps people develop courage, candor and compassion to navigate both stressful and contentious issues to achieve excellence and embrace plurality both at work and in life.She carries this search for context through correspondence and conversation as the Executive Director of the Institute for Liberal Values (ILV). At ILV she spearheads programs to promote classical liberal values of reason and freedom for the benefit of our common humanity.
