Plymouth Church School, Brooklyn, New York September 2010 - CurrentParent Admissions Ambassador/ Parent Association Chair /Auction Chair• During admissions season I lead the prospective parent tours. Duties include giving a comprehensive overview of the school, its philosophy and culture as well as field parent questions.• Assist the school director and admissions coordinator in prospective student “play dates.” In this role I observe and engage with the children during the play period. At the end of the session I work with the Director/Admissions Coordinator to write a report on each child. • The Parent Association chair role consisted of coordinating the class parents, forming a cohesive community among all the families and working with committee heads on our various events. I implemented new fundraising activities such as Mable’s Labels, Holiday pop up and t-shirt/tote sale. • In the role of Auction Chair I solicited donations, organized large amount of donations, and managed a team of volunteers for a variety of roles. This role also allowed me to have a strong understanding of the financial needs of the school.

Junior League of New York, New York, New YorkChair – Project Muse August 2009- June 2014• Project Muse focuses on the Third grade class of PS64 – a title 1 school- on the lower East Side. The program provides an interactive art education that increases awareness of art and culture and contributes to creative and cognitive development of its students. • Responsible for building curriculum that introduces the children to a wide range of artists, art genres and mediums.• Provide constant adult role model so the children feel comfortable to express themselves creativity as well as broaden their knowledge and artist skill.• Work closely with faculty and staff as well as train and manage volunteers.• Designed (along with student input) and executed mural in Thompkin Square Park.

Marketing/ PR Committee • Selected to chair the Marketing/PR committee for the 2006-2007 volunteer year prior to my move back to the US.• Head PR contact for the international project “Kids in the Kitchen.” Liaised with a London PR firm to gain print and television exposure as well as secure the involvement of local celebrities to teach London city youth about healthy cooking and nutrition. • Pitched story ideas for the league’s Community Grants project that were printed in city publications such as LINK, Kensington/Chelsea volunteer paper, Voluntary Action Westminster and Children Now.• Collaborated with others on the development of Junior League of London as a brand through various campaigns such as the promotion of “Living in London,” a book geared to the ex-pat community.
