The focus of my graduate research was menin, a poorly understood tumour suppressor whose loss of function results in tumour formation in Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 (MEN1) patients. Using a combination of molecular biology and genetic techniques, I worked to eludidate its role through the identification of putative protein binding partners.
