As a freelancer I intermittently work as an interpreter/translator (English <-> Japanese or Dutch <-> Japanese) on short-term projects.

Part time work at Curves Spui (Den Haag Centrum). Helping members with their weight management, web work and various administrative duties.

Interpreter on board charter flights from and to Japan. Participated in in-flight service and aided communication between the Dutch crew and Japanese passengers.

The cultural department is in charge of external communication. Work included answering incoming questions and providing information on anything related to Japan, including giving presentations outside the office. Further activities included organising and attending Japan related events, web work, speech writing and translations.

Wrote and administered (aural) exams at the MBO level for English learners.

Chairman of Student Association for Japanese and Korean Studies at Leiden University.
