I was hired as a billing specialist in the billing call center at Country Financial in June 2005, where I came from a background in accounts receivable at a local hotel. From there, I worked briefly in the processing area of the call center, which really helped to create a more well-rounded udnerstanding of the call center position. I moved easily into the senior billing specialist position in May 2007 and experienced many great opportunities in this position. I was sent to Atlanta to assist in training the new hires and also was able to submit ideas for areas of improvement within the department. I am currently employed in the Litigated Claims department of Country Financial, where I process payments for various vendors and defense counsel that we hire for claims in litigation. I am currently working on my AIC and am approximately half way through with this designation. The goal behind this, is to make myself more marketable and knowledgable within the claims area to learn and experience as much as possible.
