The Director of Government Programs-SHP is accountable for successful achievement of the strategic goals of the Government Programs lines of business, including all Risk Adjustment Revenue Management activities. This position directs staff and daily operational functions, and effectively plans tactical activities and manages initiatives supporting the strategic, financial, and operational goals of the organization, including the Triple Aim. The Director of Government Programs works closely with external federal and state agencies for the development, oversight, and coordination of health care policy including health reform or program initiatives.

Provides leadership for overall product management and administration of Security Health Plan's government programs to ensure compliance and financial stability of product lines. Works closely with internal and external state and federal departments to effectively manage the entire product life cycle. This includes strategic planning and tactical activities supporting Security Health Plan's annual objectives, strategic directions, and goals. Provides direct supervision and leadership of Government Programs staff so that established performance measures are being met.

Managed the development and implementation of organizational projects - including Health Care Reforms, Health Insurance Exchange and Sales & Underwriting System Implementation. Collaborated with key staff to coordinate and assist in the analysis, development, management, modification, production and presentation of corporate projects.
