If we had call signs in the business world, mine would probably be “The Fixer”. This is because I thrive when I am challenged with finding solutions to complex problems. Instinctively, I have a deep desire to learn which fuels my curiosity about how things work and ultimately, how they could work better. I enjoy conversing with others in my field about ideas, theories, and concepts, especially when it draws me to conclusions on perplexing issues.My whole life, I have been a strategic thinker, always looking for a better, more efficient way to do just about everything. Whether it was back in my Brewmaster days calculating out the mash efficiency or reducing filtration times, I direct my energy, effort, and reasoning to the task at hand, until it is resolved. When I owned and operated my Day Spa, I measured and collected data on everything, consistently challenging how to better employee and customer relations. As the Global Clinical Operations Manager at Cynosure, I leverage my MBA, business, and nursing backgrounds to create the most amazing customer experience at every touch point. I am passionate about exceeding our customer needs by persistently improving current practices, policies, and processes and executing high-quality, cost-effective solutions. I reduced the North American clinical education department’s operating budget by over $700k per year. I cultivated this by designing and implementing automated paperwork and a closed-loop customer survey system, which I then rolled out to our international partners.I am happiest when I am collaborating with highly intelligent individuals, which is why I love representing clinical education as the subject matter expert on multiple core teams, providing input on everything from product design to business planning and development. These teams require in-depth learning of new processes and/or technologies, determining efficient solutions, and then educating others on the safe and effective use of the product.When I am not trying to improve something, I enjoy spending time with my family by walking on the beach, kayaking, or biking around the beautiful Delaware coast.
