Custom Financial Reporting Systems Led a cross-functional team of developers, financial analysts, accountants, and subject matter experts creating a new centralized billing system capable of account management, processing 200K+ financial transactions per year, and interfacing with the NIH Business System (NBS). Designed accompanying reporting system for use by staff and customers. Designed and developed interactive telecommunications billing reporting application for NIH community replacing manual Excel spreadsheets resulting in approximately 500 production labor-hours saved per year. Designed and developed interactive reporting system for Mainframe fee-for-service billing system. Conceived of, gained consensus for, and planned for replacement for status of funds web application utilizing extant software and saving $100k+ annually in licensing fees and support costs. Led NIH-wide workgroup to create enterprise-level business intelligence application combining HR and Finance data from multiple source systems eliminating the need for 20+ Business Objects reports.

Reported directly to Vice-President of Government Services.  Led client support team, managing four employees.  Provided on-site client-based training and support to NIH personnel.  Prepared monthly financial reports and quarterly budget forecasts.  Gathered reporting requirements and liaised with programming staff to fulfill contract deliverables. Utilized relational databases to create customized reports and queries for client use.  Audited Accounts Payable invoices daily.
