Kindness matters. Civility matters. Dignity matters. Although I am just one ordinary person with a limited sphere of influence, I pledge to speak out and do something when I see, or hear, something that is not right in my personal sphere. No one should be subjected to workplace prejudice, ridicule or disparagement. I recognize when a situation demands action and proceed accordingly. Years ago, I was confronted with a medical emergency that compelled me to perform CPR on a family friend. I used my CPR training to act quickly and have maintained CPR certification ever since. I am committed to caring, readiness, meaningful relationships, perpetual curiosity and lifelong learning. In my recent career at Physio Control Inc., I supported the readiness of first responders across the country. By effectively managing accessory supply orders and service maintenance contracts for the medical devices (AEDs, heart monitors, and mechanical CPR), I contributed to a chain of care that saved thousands of lives. My professional experience also includes assisting customers and vendors by answering calls and emails, resolving issues and fulfilling requests, researching billing system issues and food truck business start-up requirements, creating instruction manuals, requirements documents and reference guides, collaborating to maximize implementation of new software tools and data migration, converting technical information into common language explanations and documenting procedures for agents to use on the job.I have facilitated the resolution of billing and pricing issues, analyzed process flows for opportunities to increase efficiency and managed user testing projects to improve web based forms and applications. I also ran a food truck/coffee business out of a converted ambulance.
