As a small business owner I do everything!Certified Doula: A doula is like a personal wellness trainer for birth. My doula service includes working one-on-one with couples facilitating personal growth, clarity of communication, team building, education and confidence building from pregnancy, through birth and into the prenatal period. Birth & Parenting Educator: My classes go beyond education; encouraging new ways of thinking, communicating and problem solving for birth and parenting.Group Facilitator: I lead several support groups for parents; La Leche League mothers' breastfeeding meetings, "Whole"isitc Mamas & Papas with outdoor meet ups and an on-line support group, and Becoming a Family new parent support for moms and dads.Lectures & Presentations:I speak annually at our local colleges and at numerous health & wellness fairs.Writer: I am a contributing writer to Women's Press, New Times, and Central Coast Family News.
