With over 20 years of work experience in engineering physics, polymer science, materials science, 3D printing, 3D bioprinting, and microfluidics, I am currently the COS at BMF Biotechnology that specializes in using our 3D printed end products, vascularized organs-on-chips, for recapitulation of physiological environment for enhanced drug discovery and cosmetic testing. In this role, I lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to develop novel 3D printing technologies and applications for biomedical and pharmaceutical industries. Previously, I was the Principal Scientist at Allegro 3D, a daughter company of BICO, a global leader in biomanufacturing solutions, where I contributed to the development and commercialization of 3D bioprinters and bioinks. I am also a prolific researcher and inventor, with multiple publications in prestigious journals and patents in the field of 3D bioprinting, microfluidics, and polymer physics and chemistry. My mission is to advance the science and technology of 3D bioprinting and advanced materials and to create innovative solutions that can improve human health and quality of life. I am passionate about collaborating with diverse and talented teams, learning new skills and knowledge, and sharing my insights and experience with the scientific and engineering community.
