Engineering InternNebraska Public Power District May 1995 - Jan 1997I was able to work with the engineers responsible for the circulating water system, boilers, penthouse, turbines and condensers. NPPD provided extensive training so I was able to learn the basics of power plant operation as well as in-depth knowledge of the systems. I worked during several outages, assisting with inspection and maintenance. Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, I also designed new platforms for the condenser water boxes.
