I am a Ph.D Student and Instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am currently a TA at UIC's Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) and a supervisor at the UIC Writing Center. I have previously taught courses in the UIC First Year Writing Program, and at Elmhurst University, that are designed to help incoming students transition into college-level writing. Now I focus more on educational development by designing, promoting, and facilitating inclusive workshops through CATE and CIRTL@UIC.My research primarily focuses on the Western tradition of the Will to Know, sophistic antilogic, and argumentation. I have also completed an academic concentration in Latin American and Latino Studies. Much of my work and interests also focus on improving my own pedagogy through inclusive and equitable teaching practices.

Drop-in tutoring is meant to aid students who have questions about their writing, but may not be able to have a full length session, may not need one, or are otherwise unable to make it to a session.
