Acute care facility implementing patient’s individualized treatment plan as established by the primary PT, providing individualized treatments including therapy such as therapeutic exercise including aerobic capacity conditioning, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanics and postural stabilization, flexibility exercises, gait training, neuromotor development training, relaxation, strength, power, and endurance training; functional training; manual therapy; integumentary repair and protection; use of electrotherapeutic, physical agents and mechanical modalities. Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the physical therapy treatment program. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of physical therapy, under the direction of the physical therapist. Maintains appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated. Ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights. PRN at this facility, was full time.

Outpatient practice with a prior specialty in Aquatic Therapy treating knees, hips, low back pain, ankle injuries, shoulders and general deconditioning. Administered active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, Laser, hot and cold modalities, and soft tissue manipulation. Energetic team player with a reputation for excellent patient-communication skills as well as with other clinicians and faculty.
