Advising energy clients on emerging topics pertaining to load forecasting, particularly the challenges of incorporating DERs and improving renewable forecasts. Developing solutions for electric vehicle adoption rates and the siting of charging stations.

I help SAS customers in the Energy industry make data driven decisions. My focus areas include forecasting and advanced analytics.

• Supported the development of a Simulation Model that assessed economic, financial, and reliability impacts of environmental policies. Responsible for developing and maintaining the national-level database for the model. Presented results at a national trade conference.• Managed data and analysis to evaluate the national impact to the electric utility industry’s cost of compliance to a proposed EPA rule. • Developed PC SAS interface to generate statistical analyses for an on-site residential survey of financial incentives for energy-efficient appliances.• Programmed a client-delivered software product developed to estimate and simulate market potential and market penetration of demand-side management programs.• Performed the SAS analyses of an impact evaluation of a mandatory residential time-of-use rate for large residential customers, comparing the current standard rate with the proposed time-of-use rate.• Maintained and analyzed a SAS database of manufacturing industries to extract relocating or expanding economic development prospects, cited in “A Linkage Approach to Industrial Location” (Anderson and Johnston 1992 Growth and Change 23(3):321).
