My role was to support those who are considered vulnerable adults or homeless. Individuals who come into the service are 18 years or older and are offered supported accommodation for 6 months, although many individuals stay on until they feel independent enough or have been offered a property of their own.I support roughly 8 people at once on my caseload, typically focusing on issues around mental health, accommodation, finances, drug use and physical health, although this does vary from individual to individual. Working for Framework has allowed me to expand my network, through multiagency meetings such as Addaction, mental health teams and social services and has allowed me to work with a range of individuals. I am also responsible for the resettlement support of service users who have left the service and moved into their own properties with our help.It gives me great pride knowing that I've helped someone's journey in life succeed.
