With over 11 years of work experience in communications, public service, project management, coalition building, and writing, I am a passionate and versatile professional who strives to make a positive difference in the world. I have a strong background in strategic communications, social networking, and writing, which I have leveraged to coordinate interdepartmental efforts, engage external partners, and draft reports and planning documents for various food and nutrition programs in Pennsylvania. As a board member of the School of Humanities at Penn State Harrisburg and a former school board member of the Harrisburg School District, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and I value collaboration, creativity, and innovation.Most recently, I served as the head of outgoing gubernatorial transition for former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, where I developed systems and processes for organizing hundreds of thousands of print and digital files from the outgoing gubernatorial office and oversaw the transition of materials to the Pennsylvania State Archives. Prior to that, advisor to the Governor Wolf on food and nutrition programs, where I coordinated interdepartmental efforts to reduce hunger and improve nutrition among Pennsylvania residents, reviewed operations and policies of food and nutrition programs administered by the commonwealth, organized public and private sector efforts to improve the commonwealth’s response to food insecurity, and engaged advocates and other external partners to increase program effectiveness and accessibility.I also served as the chief of staff and press secretary for former First Lady Frances Wolf, where I oversaw her key initiatives and projects on various topics, such as education, health, arts, and culture. In these roles, I demonstrated my skills in social networking, writing, and strategic communications, as well as my commitment to social impact and public service.
