Chief operating officer responsible for all administrative functions, payroll support human resources, financial operations, resource development, and grant writing for the organization with the mission to meet the needs and provide holistic support for the military and veteran community. Provided oversight of daily administrative and financial operations while developing and implementing process improvement methodology to maximize efficiencies and reduce cost.❖ Collaborated with Colorado Springs and Rocky Mountain Human Services as the organizational fiscal agent for the Pikes Peak Veteran Housing Fund, an integral part of the 2019 Homeless Initiative to incentivize landlords to house vulnerable veterans.❖ Planned and executed the organization’s first fundraising event (Honoring the Brave Breakfast), attended by nearly 700 community members and receiving contributions in excess of over $170,000 by the fifth year that went directly to assisting more than 5,000 local military service members and veterans.❖ Led the merger of two nonprofit organizations, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, resulting in a new and more efficient organization that provides streamlined access to care and resources.
