Instructed Advanced Web Design, Introduction to Web Design and Designing for Mobile Devices courses.I revised and updated the lectures to include updated concepts and techniques. I prepared class activities and exercises that introduced students to designing and developing responsive websites, design research, CMS development including custom theming in WordPress and mobile app design and development.

I instruct the Web Design I and Special Topics Web Design courses.I planned and instructed the introductory class on web design and development taught in the Art Department. During the course, I guided students through the process of designing and developing responsive websites based on web standards and explained concepts around accessibility, usability, and user research. I also introduced the students to WordPress and custom theme development. The class was used as the foundation for the current introductory web design course, which I had the opportunity to teach again in January of 2018.

I prepared the syllabus and lessons to focus on accessible and expandable design while introducing essential concepts in web development and research. In the Advertising Design and Graphic Design courses, I presented new lessons in digital branding, identity design, and event design.

Instructed a 6 week workshop on web design and front-end development. Material covered included information architecture, UX design and interface design. HTML, CSS and jQuery were taught at an entry level.

I conceptualized and designed interactive web marketing campaigns using Flash applications and HTML web layouts. I would also assist developers by implementing the HTML and CSS when needed. I often collaborated with team members to concept and create interactive designs for Mattel, Birds Eye Foods and Rich Products.

I designed and maintained websites for the health care community using HTML and Flash. I alsocreated interactive tools using Flash and HTML to assist patients in understanding medical terminology.

I worked in a team environment to design graphics for museums and visitor centers. I also supervised and directed design interns. I would often manage the quality control during the revision and production of graphics and set up files and color corrected graphics for final print.
