As a Dean of Student Success and Workforce Development, I led diverse teams to help students successfully transition into college and prepare for the workforce. I also have a passion for creating workforce training opportunities to aid individuals to learn skills to earn a livable wage and improve their social mobility. I have over 25 years of experience in higher education administration, academic services, and testing at two community colleges an a private college in New York State.My core competencies include developing and implementing learning strategies, workforce training, mentoring and coaching faculty and staff, and overseeing academic support services such as tutoring, advising, counseling, disability services and career development. I am passionate about creating inclusive and supportive learning environments that empower students to achieve their academic and professional goals. I also have a PhD in Educational Policy and Leadership from the University at Albany, and a certification in Leading Change in Higher Education from SUNY.
