Although still fulfilling, I now get just as much or more satisfaction looking at the bigger picture in healthcare and making system changes that impact more patients in a positive way than I could ever reach in the emergency department. I have a patient focused mindset with a strong track record of leading teams and achieving successful and sustained results. Projects are propelled by creating trust, confidence, and developing meaning in work. Asking the why question and challenging the status quo to transform processes using design thinking and LEAN six sigma techniques generates results.
