In 2024, in response to concerns about low-quality AI research results and information resources, I established Verified Intelligence, a consultancy specializing in "human-powered" research, business information resources, communications, and information management. My current projects include creating a small archive for and researching & writing the organizational history of a Toronto-based NPO.

Following a restructuring of the organization, I finalized the implementation of an association management system and coordinated a transition from siloed financial management processes to an integrated technology stack. As unrestricted net assets grew, I established a working capital reserve in collaboration with the Treasurer. I developed relationships with new and existing service providers and business partners, and restored the organization’s institutional eligibility to administer a triennial grant. Working with the Program Chair, Local Arrangements Coordinator, and Executive Committee, I served as the logistical lead on national conferences in Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto, coordinating operational support for up to 500 participants, and successfully adapted the conference to virtual environments in 2021 and 2022. Membership numbers stabilized during the pandemic and increased by over 20% in 2023.
