I'm thrilled to announce my proudest accomplishment to date: True North Online Academy, a new, affordable, Montessori-inspired online middle and high school. Say hello to the future of online education!As a former Montessori educator, school founder and school choice advocate, I have always been passionate about ensuring parents have access to high-quality school choices. Despite the evolving education landscape and the increase in school options, I couldn't help but notice many are still too restrictive, expensive, cookie-cutter, or passive in tracking and nurturing student progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.In collaboration with American High School, a leader in online education for nearly 20 years, True North delivers a Montessori-inspired education through an accredited online platform with certified teachers, experienced guidance counselors, and a diverse course catalog. Our offerings include AP, Honors, Career/Technical, and Virtual Reality courses, providing students with a wide array of options to help them determine both their interests and the best path for them after graduation.Additionally, I've earned my Positive Psychology certification from Wholebeing Institute to develop a coaching program for True North. This program offers personalized 1:1 coaching support to help students manage emotions, set goals, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their aspirations.
