Provided reference services to teen and adult patrons. Helped individuals with technology questions as well as provided one on one help with resume building and job applications. I spearheaded a successful genre book club, where patrons read any book they wanted within a specific genre and then had discussions about themes and topics. I helped facilitate a lecture series titled "democracy in America" with Yale University.

Reviewed current Bureau of Recycling and Sustainability retention practices and updated their portion of the NYC records retention schedule to conform to current city and state standards, for both paper and born-digital materials.Created and presented educational materials for staff to introduce them to records retention.Implemented bureau-wide file naming standards.Created read-only LAN directory as a records management tool. Worked with the Municipal Library to set up regular ingest schedule for new publications, and prepared old publications for transfer.

Performed an inventory of approximately 700 linear feet of serials and printed ephemera. Organizing this inventory based on general subject categories. Pulled titles already cataloged to be added to the current serials record. Created artificial collections for un-cataloged serials based on subject. Began steps to process and catalog the materials based on subject area.Prepped approximately 250 reel-to-reels, and approximately 300 cassette tapes of oral-history interviews for digitization. Edited transcripts of oral-history interviews into institutionally standardized format. Created biographical and scope notes for approximately 100 individual oral histories, whose narrators were participants in the New York City Immigrant Labor Project. Created a base level finding aid of each oral-history interview to allow for researchers to request specific interviews related to their work. Other work: accessioning and inventorying of newly acquired collections, foldering and labeling materials.

Completed a detailed survey and inventory of the collection, RG211-War Manpower Commission Region II, including folder level scope and content notes and subject headings of 25 linear feet of material.Digitized a selection of materials. Completed item level directory of scope and content notes, and subject headings.Surveyed approximately 10 linear feet of materials dated 1780-1880. Created report detailing conservation needs.Surveyed collection of photographs, negatives, cyanotypes, and glass plate negatives from the late 19th and early 20th century. Wrote conservation proposal for this material and moved material into appropriate housing.
