• Wrote a computer program in C++ to give commands to a CNC milling machine to produce a test mirror for the Sunyaev-Zeldovich Array (SZA) Telescopes. • Performed metrology on an ellipsoidal mirror using a Zeiss Coordinated Measuring Machine and wrote computer programs to analyze the data to determine the surface RMS of each of the mirrors.• Performed an experiment to test the temperature gradient across the foam insulation for the Columbia accident investigation.
