The Director of Fiscal Grant Management and Foundation Accounting is responsible for overseeing all grant and Foundation accounting functions including, reviewing and approving fiscal transactions, cash flow management, preparation of monthly and year-end fiscal reports, working with the Finance and Accounting department through annual audits, preparation of the 990-tax return, and overseeing the Fiscal Grant and Foundation Accounting team. This position is also responsible for researching and ensuring compliance with all grant accounting standards, nonprofit regulations, and all associated reporting requirements. All activities should be performed in a timely and accurate manner, with a high level of quality and customer service.

Job Summary:The primary function of the Assistant Director is to aid in the oversight of all College accounting operations and provide improvement of the college’s Student Information System and supporting interfaces and systems. This position is equally comprised of technical, functional and support related tasks. This position leads the accounting team in month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and overall maintenance of accounting records and financial report development. In addition, the Assistant Director will serve as back-up to various Finance and Accounting department functions. This position also provides system process analysis, testing, troubleshooting and support in the areas of Finance & Administration. The Assistant Director, Finance will actively consult and partner with Leadership, Finance, Information Technology and other departments to oversee the day-to-day support of business needs and to drive process improvement, best practices and automation within the Finance department.
