Engineer within the Energy & Engineering Team, primary job responsibilities included: - Life-Cycle Program Manager for 5 major assets (parking lots, roofs, HVAC, refrigeration - cases and racks) within the entire fleet, which included over 240 sites. - Life-Cycle & Facilities Maintenance Capital Budgeting Lead - responsible for the overall planning & scope development of capital projects to replace assets at the end of their useful life. Coordinate with partner teams in Capital Construction, Remodel Construction, and Retail Operations.- Managed Third Party Consultant Parking Lot and Roof Site Assessments: selection and coordination

Jennifer was part of a team developing a safety program for the growing Jacobs Telecommunications business to drive greater efficiency, team coordination and organization. Working with the Senior Safety Manager, she supported the development of safety procedures, an employee training program and a mobile application to enable a more efficient submittals process.

Following the Jacobs Future Network, this group targeted employees with 6-10 years of experience and provided the next level for deepening professional networks and leveraging those networks for further career development. Members gained exposure to senior leaders, further explored potential career paths, worked on more targeted development, and played a role in advising leaders on how to improve areas of our business. As a volunteer Global Co-Chair, Jennifer: helped manage the Global Oversight Team (comprised of representatives from every business region and most corporate functions); was a main contact for our corporate executive sponsor (Senior Vice President of HR); and mentored and supported each representative to innovate and organize activities in offices across the regions. The Co-Chairs were there to ensure that great practices are shared between regions, to leverage the benefits of the members creativity and the Jacobs culture.

Jennifer was nominated and participated in a corporate sponsored 6 month international assignment. Project Experience: Upper Level Expansion Joint Repair and Rehab, O’Hare International Airport (ORD). Inspector and Assistant PM; Responsibilities: Visual inspection of existing expansion joints, frequent subcontractor and client coordination, plan development and submission, new expansion joint selection, maintenance of traffic, project staging and scheduling, support to project manager, client invoicing.Bridge Inspections, ORD and Midway International Airport (MDW)Project Engineer responsible for inspections and condition evaluation of airside and landside structures. Taxiway Y & K and South Ramp De‐Icing, MDWAs a design engineer, she was responsible for the grading design including the rehabilitation of 4,500’ of existing Taxiways Y, K, D and Y2 and expansion of the South Ramp. Jennifer also provided other miscellaneous project support including plan development, specifications, client meetings, and client invoicing. Pavement Management Services, MDW and ORDAs a Project Engineer, Jennifer supported the visual inspections of airside and landside airport pavements, plan and specification development / submission. Runway 10C‐28C and Associated Taxiways, ORDA new 10,800-foot by 200-foot, Group VI runway. The runway had a total construction value of $640MM and was broken up into eight construction packages. Jennifer supported pavement and storm sewer demolition, mass earthwork design, security fence profiles, drainage profiles, cost estimation, plan coordination, compilation of plans and specification for bidding and construction purposes and an on-site client construction submittal coordination role.Volunteer Works within Jacobs:Jacobs Future Network - Participated in 2010 US and 2011 UK Weekends. Jacobs Future Network is for early career professionals at Jacobs, this group provides professional networking and development of early career skills. The employee-led network helps members see the opportunities available at Jacobs, feel connected to the company and their global colleagues, gain exposure to leaders, and help them shape and fulfill their career aspirations. Every year there are two Jacobs Future weekends were members are nominated by their business unit to attend. Employees (approx. 100-200) are brought together to network, participate in team building activities and learn about our business from Senior Management.After Jennifer participated in her Jacobs Future United Kingdom Weekend, she returned to the states and worked with a counterpart to keep the 19 American weekend participants networking.Co-Founding and Coordinating this team involved planning and running a calendar of professional development events and meetings to build our young leaders knowledge-base about the company and professional development needs to succeed in their careers at Jacobs.
