Having worked across multiple industries, I found my passion in healthcare. It's personal. It affects my community and I want the right care for my family when we need it.The challenge in this industry is that there's not a cohesive way to approach healthcare. Policies and high-level strategies can be impossible to create and implement because there are so many challenges to tackle. It's a complex and constantly changing environment. I believe that partnerships and collaboration among physicians, hospitals and insurers are the only way to move the needle to obtain the quality care we want for our families and our communities. Clearly we are stronger together. My background in contract negotiation from outside the industry and inside it with value based care helps me contribute to this possibility every day. Physicians, hospitals and health insurers think and care about the same things: safe, effective care for everyone. My objective is to navigate this parallel between providers and plans to create a win-win around locally-focused needs. We should build relationships that last, because combining our experiences, knowledge and determination will allow us to construct forward-thinking strategies to benefit everyone accessing healthcare in this country. We're better together.
