Currently, I am an Accountant I for the banking department in the Water Services Department with the City of Phoenix customer service division. I have 15+ years’ experience in customer service in a call center environment as well as face-to-face. I have a proven track record in problem-solving, leadership, customer service, detail-oriented, and can multitask within a fast-paced atmosphere. Presently, I supervise a team of seven, handle escalated calls from Customer Service Representatives, provide training for new hire employees, assist our project management team with system testing, research customers’ payments, and the go-to person to assist a customer with the online portal. Recently, a customer wrote a letter to the city manager thanking him for having me as an employee and providing him outstanding customer service and for my problem-solving skills.Co-workers know me as having knowledge of the department and can trust that when they approach me with a question or concern, I will be able to assist them. Our mission statement is “to provide quality, reliable and cost-effective water services that meet public needs and maintain public support”. Because we strive on providing the best customer service experience possible, my fellow supervisors and I work well as a team with collaborating ideas and solutions.I am one class away from earning my associate degree in Business Organizational Management with Maricopa Community Colleges. In January 2020, I will begin my bachelors’ program at Ottawa University, studying Business Management and Leadership. I have also completed and have obtained my license for a Practical Radiological Technician and Certified Physical Therapy Technician, earning a 4.0 GPA in both programs.I am always excited to be able to connect with colleagues, managers, old friends, or new opportunities.
