SDM (Securities Data Management) is a centralised global utility that supports the NAV production process for mutual and hedge fund accounting teams in Europe, India and across several US locations.Department: Corporate ActionsResponsibilities Include:• Daily creation, update and processing of corporate actions files using data vendor reports, custodian advice and approved third party source data.• Understand the theoretical/technical nature of all corporate actions and security types.• Organise and set the agenda for monthly administrator meetings• Liaising with a range of departments, including Fund Accounting and Reconciliations to address and answer any queries that may arise• Designing of presentations for training purposes• Project Work, including testing of newly established programs from inception to live date

My current responsibilities in include the following:- The maintenance of customer accounts and training end users when required. - Sourcing bespoke products from a range of suppliers - Resolving any queries a customer may have to the highest possible standard within the set time scales, including processing quotations & orders and solving issues/ complaints.- Updating a customer’s contract and pricing as required and implementing the necessary modifications- Working with my colleagues to achieve and maintain ISO certification.Ecommerce- Ensuring to have extensive knowledge of online accounts and to maintain each account as required - Processing online accounts, including the set up of end users/ addresses/ cost centres etc.- Production of a bespoke brochure for each end user outlining the ordering system and process.

During my time in this role, I was responsible for the following:- Ensuring that all new customers are familiar with the ordering process and methods available to them - Ensuring that all orders and queries are dealt with as soon as possible- Attending meetings/ reviews to ensure that the customer is happy with the services provided.- Identifying potential service issues, proactively contacting the customer to clarify and resolve the problem, offering alternative products or service levels where appropriate.- Recording all information regarding all customer queries and calls on the Enquiry Management System, to a high level of detail.- Proactively managing all orders & queries from receipt to completion.- Training new staff on the internal system and ensuring that they were familiar with our various customers and duties- Attending and being involved in road shows for new customers, including setting up and taking charge of a stand for the day and being prepared for any queries that may come up.
