I worked at Canterbury of New Zealand within the product management, teamwear & retail division. Working closely with all aspects of the production team (factory, Garment Tech’s & Graphic Design Team) I established myself as a valid member of my team by analysing sales, identifying gaps within the current range for future products, I played a key role in the strategic direction of the teamwear/retail division briefing the graphic design team for AW12/SS13 developments. I played a large part in a IT project for the teamwear website and online kit designer. I managed the logistics for a multi-million euro luxury goods company based in Ireland they operate 7 stores across Ireland and operate closely with their sister company Selfridges & Co based in the UK. During my time at Brown Thomas I managed the logistics team. During my career at Brown Thomas I was actively involved in the merger between Brown Thomas and their sister company in the UK, Selfridges & Co. I helped to facilitate the change from an Irish based Finance Department to a UK base in Leicester. Working in conjunction with the Senior Homewares Buyer I travelled to trade shows, product managing a luxury bed linen range whilst reviewing and balancing stock levels. I managed several multi million euro accounts. Managing the relationships between these external sources and our internal directors, buyers and stockrooms was a key element to this position. I worked extensively on product launches alongside the Marketing Team featuring several times in Tatler magazine.
