Quality Improvement & Marketing Coordinator, Medicaid and Uninsured Case Management services to physicians and patients. Collaborated with nurse case managers and physicians to reduce Medicaid recipients’ emergency room visit costs by improving quality of care based on national guidelines/standards for diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, COPD, and asthma as well as chart audits. Developed multilingual materials with concise messages and visuals for nurse case managers and physicians to use with patients on how to better handle their medical needs.

Began employment at GSK with the Community Affairs dept. creating website content about NC Dept. of Public Instruction Standard Course of Study for internal employees. Moved on to sales representative calling on area physicians and specialists in products designed to treat asthma, copd, allergic rhinitis, depression and diabetes. Joined multicultural marketing team to organize community health events in different urban communities around the USA as well as implementing cultural competency trainings and materials for employees, physicians and the sales force.
