Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies while partnering with reliable vendors and suppliers of gemstones, beads, crystals, leather, and chains domestically and abroad. Coordinates these tasks with Inventory and Accounting Departments- Organize and prioritize wholesale transactions in order to build purchasing reports through Quickbooks for Accounting reconciliation- Manage vendor relationships to maintain effective and mutually beneficial partnerships - Supervise order quantity with timing of deliveries as to meet all internal and external production and shipping standards including retail customers plus wholesale buyers, domestic and international- Lead price negotiation, accurate inventory, color checking, and quality control of all raw materials-Resolve all issues of shipments in error with suppliers- Construct internal purchase orders for entire company- Verify specifications and prices upon material receipt and reconcile with Inventory- Monitor and forecasts levels of demand for stock needs- Preserve all information on vendors, prices, and materials by cataloging to Dropbox and hard copy binder as to assure reliability- Work with Accounts Payable to authorize and ensure accurate and timely payments of invoices for goods- Direct fabrication of all assemblies to attach to finished product for all Freelance artists as well as schedule drop off and pick up, prepare project packages of materials, and provide any necessary training- Communicate with Retail to ensure availability of all items for website and press- Coordinate with Head Designer all showroom samples for all collections - Construct all samples for production and freelance assembly- Responsible for all in house repairs and exclusive one of a kind piece assembly
