I am an accomplished public health researcher and community organizer with >15 years engaging and working with the community. Through my tenure as an epidemiologist, I have worked across a variety of settings locally and nationally, always putting the community at the forefront. I appreciate the importance of strong partnerships that include diverse perspectives to ensure inclusion and equity. I have experience creating and developing community partnerships on common goals and successfully received extramural funding for these projects. In tandem, I develop thorough and thoughtful program evaluations to improve the long-term success and sustainability of the programs so all stakeholders involved can see the successes and discuss ways to overcome challenges. My experience with diverse projects and teams allows me to be a pivotal figure in fostering collaborative partnerships and enhance the research and business portfolio, while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the process.
