Manages the supply chain for smaller suppliers of confidential ingredients. Assists a Global Ingredient Director in managing larger supplier relationships with $137M in spend; serves as point of escalation for supply chain issues; effectively collaborates with cross functional teams; provides support to senior technical leadership; engages in negotiations; executes problem solving and issue resolution to sustain uninterrupted supply; and manages new ingredient introductions.• Manages smaller suppliers of Class 2 ingredients while assisting a Global Ingredient Director responsible for large Class 1 and Class 2 suppliers.• Develop and maintain supplier and plant relationships, coordinates and participates in routine meetings, assists with strategy development and implementation• Provides support for annual negotiations, including analysis of usage and forecast data, ingredient and market information. Participates in the negotiation process.• Manages supply chain issues to prevent out of stock issues, supply constraints, ingredient rejections, changes in demand or forecasts• Works closely with Supply Chain, Suppliers and Ingredient Quality to mitigate production delays, shipment delays and quality control issues• Maintain commercial details for a portfolio of flavor suppliers and ingredients • Manages status of supplier adherence to Company requirements such as Supplier Guiding Principles, Global Food Safety Initiative, Quality Audits, Contracts, Supplier Held Contingency Inventory Initiative, etc.• Provides support to manufacturing locations and R&D for new ingredient introductions, new product launches and reformulations.• Provides suppliers with performance metrics and strategizes with them to reduce service and quality rejection rates.• Procurement liaison to Supplier Diversity Team, reporting out SIS diverse spend.
