Manage the day-to-day operations of an audit team and their needs, audit coders, provider audits done on a quarterly basis and tracked with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Planner. Additionally, I work alongside the Vice President of Compliance on third party audits from various payers across various states. These audits range from required self-audits by state specific Medicaid plans to OIG driven audits from private insurance companies as well as audits performed both pre and post payment. Ideal Option is located across eleven states throughout the US with more than ninety clinics requiring a wide knowledge of plans and the ability to adapt to new and changing insurance requirements.

Reconcile and code procedures and surgeries in various specialties including Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Electrophysiology, Pulmonary and Hospital Inpatient Evaluation and Management. Additionally, I was responsible for coding the day-to-day office charges and working any denials. I worked alongside many departments involved in the Revenue Cycle to overcome obstacles and eradicate errors and produce clean claims.

I was responsible for checking patients in and out, answering phone calls, scheduling, verifying insurance and prepping paper charts for the next day.
