Supervision of (six) employees. A financial analyst that oversees the budget threshold of more than eight departments, a GIS administrator responsible for the complete overhaul of refuse and recycling routes, Ombudsmen (two of them) that eagerly identify and report concerns within the community, and two dedicated staff members that run RYD programs - Successful Outcomes After Release (SOAR) and the Positive Path Program (P3), a STEM-based curriculum that we built from the ground up! I also served as the Bee City USA liaison as well as the on-site coordinator tasked with improving the operations at the city's hydroponics farm!

Under the leadership of the director of operations, I assisted the following departments with the administrative duties to execute policies and procedures:The Office of Sustainability, Sanitation, Property & Facilities Management, Fleet Services, Operations & Field Operations. The work expanded to include Information Systems, Recreation & Parks and the Central Warehouse.Performs professional and administrative work assisting the Operations Director in formulating and implementing policies, programs and special projects related to department issues; plans, coordinates and facilitates problem-solving efforts, special events, and meetings initiated by the director; manages all aspects of internal and external communications activities of the director's office, including media and public relations functions such as public information programs, news releases, news conferences, and annual reports; reviews budget proposals, reviews minutes of meetings, assists on interview panels, answer citizen questions about department activities, plans and manages special projects assigned by the director; provides technical and managerial support for the department's divisions and programs.

Managed on-air programming and scheduling of the municipal TV station. Logistics coordinator for special events such as The National Black Theater Festival (city events), City Christmas Tree Lighting, and Rock the Block.Wrote, produced and edited promotional, training and informational programs; coordinated details of field and/or studio productions; and responsible for programs' completion on time.
