It was a generation that grew up on magazines filled with stories about weight-loss, how to please a man, and what not to wear. We know that media and magazines are still vehicles that drive culture. So, we're using it to celebrate healthier, more empowered ways of being in the world and recasting "the midlife crisis" as an opportunity for self-discovery and clarity.

jennifer magazine is an online-only publication that elevates and shares women's stories at a time when they begin fading from traditional media and yet are finally coming more fully into their power economically, politically, and personally. I have been a freelance writer for over a decade. I work with a variety of clients that include magazines, media outlets, boutique hotels, restaurants, real estate developers, and other various brands to bring fresh stories and perspectives to their audiences. My method of copywriting, which includes high-touch service rooted in positivity, has successfully helped companies and organizations find their story and develop their voice, along with providing other more traditional forms of copywriting including content writing and scriptwriting for short videos. I use a storytelling approach informed by psychology to engage audiences and inspire them to act. Plus, I bring enthusiasm and a keen eye for what makes a project unique.

I co-created South of Brooklyn to celebrate the untold stories of people in Baltimore and beyond who are invested in their city. Featuring the stories of makers and artists who planted roots in places that aren't considered creatively fertile ground by traditional media, South of Brooklyn became an online destination to read about exceptional talent.In addition to writing articles and conducting interviews, I produced all of the videos on the site.

Developed, produced, wrote, and hosted a YouTube series called Adventures in Learning for digital-savvy parents that focused on building positive parent/child relationships.Each episode was crafted around a simple story: a family outing or interaction where learning was fun and engaging, making it a hit with parents and educators alike. The series received over 320,000 views and continues to be shared across social media platforms, including a feature on Upworthy.
