Teach Dual Enrollment ASL Course to Homeschoolers partnering with Roberts Wesleyan

During this time, I undertake some design contracts on an independent basis. My responsibilities include creative direction, design consultation, design for print, illustration, painting, and woodworking.

Taught ASL to Jr High students as a Language other than English (LOTE) Requirement as well as administer end of year NYS Regents exams.

Worked temporarily to assist with recruiting deaf and hard of hearing students across the United States for the Tech Boys, Tech Girls and STS (Steps to Success) programs.

Was directly hired by Snap!VRS as a Senior team member reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing/Customer Operations responsible for managing Customer Service and Technical Support teams. Successfully merged Customer Service and Technical Support teams into one unit to provide a “one stop shopping” experience by promoting cross-functional training between the 2 departments.Supported managerial peers in all of Customer Operations, Interpreting Operations and IT including, but not limited to developing and implementing policies, methods and procedures, provided message creation for various campaigns and creative direction to media/marketing team and oversaw quality of service that was provided as a company with a focus on retaining and acquiring new customers, customer relationship management and product and service feature implementation in an IP-based Video Relay Service in a government (FCC) regulated environment.

Interviewed, hired, trained and managed a team of 22+ Customer Service representatives to represent Snap!VRS in a call center environment providing superior, top-notch customer service. Established Customer Service infrastructure for the start up of Snap!VRS while under contract with Interpretek. This included defining operational methods and procedures for Customer Service, developing knowledge base articles in CRM for standard responses to support a customer base of those who have Snap!VRS provided videophones for use of VRS services. Customer base consisted of residential, government and enterprise user accounts.Participated in several ASL films/company announcements and designed and implemented the NAD 2008 booth display for Snap!VRS. Supported and participated in Outreach and Field service activities representing either Interpretek or Snap!VRS.

Seasonal business from April- October with 30+ overly satisfied customers! Personally worked with customers on-site performing estimates and drawing up contracts, as well as addressing all requests and concerns. Designed all business collateral. Took responsibility on product ordering, advertising/marketing and job scheduling.

Worked under direction of Account Manager. Handled various administrative tasks.
