As a member of both the Technology Coordination & Planning and the Emerging Technologies teams I have the opportunity to engage in district-wide, long-range planning in addition to working closely with all stake-holders to shift districts towards new efficiencies and meaningful scaffolding of technology and innovative pedagogical practices. Some of my current projects include:• Launching the Innovative Classrooms Cohorts in two of my school districts• Developing strategic Professional Development Plans for technology use to support and enhance pedagogy• Leading technology committee meetings• Assisting in developing Superintendent Conference Day programs• Leading teams and coordinating among departments • Consulting on assistive technology to support students with Individual Education Plans and 504s• Consulting on technology to support English Language Learners• Leading nine districts in high level technology planning sessions, resulting in 1:1 Chromebook implementations, tiered professional learning plans with emphasis on curriculum development that leverages the power of digital resources• Overseeing and execute the training of administrators, teachers, clerical, student and facilities in subscribing districts• Creating professional workflows with technology to streamline district processes

I was recruited to help form new technology and professional development programs for Warwick as well as be a lead evaluator of instructional staff and manage a team of Instructional Technology Facilitators. As a member of a new administrative team my role was focused on:• Developing the district’s strategic comprehensive Professional Development Plan• Launching a successful Google Apps environment and a large Android tablet deployment • Supervising the Instructional Technology Facilitators • Evaluating and observing the instructional staff using the Danielson Framework• Coordinating professional development and planning Superintendent's conference days• Manage the Professional Learning Website and other assets to support teachers• Planning and execute the monthly Professional Learning Communities in each building• Developing the district’s strategic comprehensive Professional Development Plan

As a tenured technology facilitator, I was recruited to help Clarkstown with embed G-Suite into the fabric of the district and enhance pedagogical practice with instructional technology. My responsibilities included: • Serving on district committees including the Technology Committee and administrative teams• Building systemic professional development plans to support initiatives of the district and its 900 faculty members• Consulting with teachers and administrators on uses of assistive technology• Moving the entire district through the migration to Gmail from Outlook• Designing P.D. courses for on-demand topics like Publishing for Primary, 4 C’s in the Classroom, Class Websites, and Social Media for Educators • Creating a library of resources for “flipped” professional development

During my position as an English teacher, my responsibilities included but were not limited to:•Teaching 9th and 10th grade English language and literature, including linguistics and comparative literature•Preparing course objectives and outlines for course of study following curriculum and state guidelines•Facilitating, demonstrate, and use cooperative learning techniques with technology and multi-media to present subject matter

During my position in Valhalla Middle High School, my responsibilities included but were not limited to:•Teaching Computer Applications classes grades 6-12•Working with all departments to facilitate the embedding of technology in academic curriculum•Instructing Windows, Mac OS and accompanying software •Training faculty on use of school website, grade book software, and Web 2.0 functionality•Providing in-service opportunities for the faculty and after school support for students

• Maintaining all computers in two separate schools and the entire PNW BOCES facility • Troubleshooting on both PC and Mac Platforms • Complete reformatting and software installations /Hardware maintenance • Updating and repairing existing network• Ordering all equipment and software for the Computer Services Department • Obtaining multiple bids on equipment and software to be deployed district wide

My responsibilities included:• Teaching all subjects in a full day Kindergarten class• Utilizing small and large group instruction as a method of teaching• Scheduling classes, trips and special events* I also bought, repaired and installed an Apple IIe mini lab for my students

For a three-month interim position my responsibilities included:• Teaching computer classes for kindergarten through sixth grade • Attending all grade level meetings and integrating technology into existing curriculum• Providing professional development sessions for teachers• Coordinating repairs and maintaining all computers and peripherals in the building

My responsibilities included:Maintaining all Mac based computers -hardware maintenance, installing and deploying new software
