An innovative development professional with 20+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience following an early career in communications, events, and music retail management. Before joining the Breakfast Lunch & Dinner team and becoming interim executive co-leader of Night Fall in Hartford, she was director of philanthropy at Long Wharf Theatre, a boundary-breaking, award-winning regional theatre in New Haven. In recent years, Jennifer held varied leadership roles at Night Fall, a multi-disciplinary arts collaboration, where she focuses on advancement, finance, audience services, strategy & change management, and community-centric partnerships. In her donor relations roles at Hartford Stage and the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Jennifer built her reputation as a bridge-builder in the arts & culture sector, connecting existing and prospective supporters and resources to mission and vision through values-aligned cultivation and imaginative stewardship strategies. She brings a joyful commitment to cross-functional understanding, mutual mentorship, and community collaboration to her work in arts philanthropic engagement.A lifelong learner, activist, and aspiring ally, Jennifer has completed recent trainings in equity-centered leadership, cultural humility, understanding white supremacy, creative problem-solving, and climate action leadership.Jennifer is currently a core volunteer at Kamora's Cultural Corner in Hartford, where she is a passionate advocate for radical inclusion, antiracism, trust-based philanthropy, and the centering of artists as vital community builders. She is also on the Connecticut Women’s Council board of directors, serving as Programs Committee Co-Chair and a discussion facilitator of Book Club, and a board member at the Connecticut Arts Alliance, which leads statewide advocacy and inspiration for arts ecosystem funding. She is a community partner at Trinity College’s Center for Hartford Engagement & Research and a volunteer in Trinity’s Women’s Leadership Council.
