• Assisting couples to settle family disputes relating to their separation or divorce in a fair and reasonable manner.• Helping clients resolve issues related to parenting, equalization of net family property, child support, spousal support and other issues of their separation

• Facilitating Financial Empowerment workshops and providing one on one support to clients on topics such as budgeting, debt management, saving and asset building and accessing benefits.• Supporting clients with applying for and appealing Ontario Disability Support Program decisions.• Assist clients in the pursuit of child and spousal support income including preparing court documents, as well as negotiating private support agreements.

1. Supporting women leaving abusive situations navigate through the Family court and criminal court process, including attending Lawyer’s appointments, assisting with completion and filing of court documents, and providing direct support on court dates.2. Assisting clients to obtain safe and affordable housing. This includes helping them to apply for priority status subsidized housing, going to view housing, and helping clients prepare to move once they secure housing.3. Counselling, Safety planning, and Group facilitation for women fleeing domestic violence.
